1. The basic requirement for submitting a project is that it is carried out by a non-profit organization recognized by a German tax office.
The organization must have a valid certificate of non-profit status issued by a German tax office. This is verified by our partner Haus des Stiftens in the first step of the submission.
2. Organizations that are exclusively based abroad and therefore do not have a certificate of non-profit status recognized by a German tax office unfortunately cannot be submitted to Restcent.
3. The projects submitted can be carried out anywhere in the world - no restrictions apply here.
4. The application process must be started by an SAP employee. This is done via the Restcent platform.
5. Funding can only be applied for for a self-contained project. Running costs of the organization (e.g. personnel, rent, etc., not related to the project) cannot be submitted.
6. The responsibility for implementing the project must rest with the submitting organization: it is not possible to apply for Restcent funds as part of a fundraising project (e.g., through service organizations such as Roundtable, Lions, etc.).
7. The requested funding amount can be a maximum of 10,000 euros. A cost calculation must show how the funds are distributed (please divide the funds into personnel, material and administration/overhead costs as specified).
8. If a submitted organization was funded through Restcent funds in the previous year, both the SAP submitter and the organization must sit out the following year's solicitation. An organization cannot be funded in two consecutive years - even if they are different projects.
9. Funds are expected to be disbursed beginning in April 2024 (no guarantee).
